Hi, I’m Cathy. Welcome to From Scratch Baking.

A little bit about me…I’ve always had a love of baking. I started baking with my mom at a young age and haven’t stopped yet. I am professionally trained in Pastry Arts and tend to focus most of my baking on decorated cookies.

When nut allergies arose in our family, my passion turned into a “necessity,” as finding a nut-free bakery is no easy task. While I wanted to bake treats for my family, I also wanted to bake for others who couldn’t go to a traditional bakery. From there, From Scratch Baking was created. 

While I am NOT a trained doctor for food allergies, I do deal with food allergies daily. Therefore, whenever I bake, I always bake peanut and tree-nut free.
