Home Bakery Allergy Disclaimer

From Scratch Baking is a home bakery that is registered with the Kane County Health Department. All products are produced in a home kitchen not subject to public health inspection that may also process common food allergens.

Common food allergens present in this kitchen include eggs, dairy, and wheat. Soy may also be present, as it can be found in certain ingredients, such as sprinkles. While precautions are taken to avoid cross-contact, all baked goods are prepared in the same kitchen where these allergens are present, and I cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from allergens.

While my baked goods do not contain peanuts or tree nuts as ingredients, please note that, upon request, I may use colored candy melts for decorating purposes in items such as dipped pretzels. Most brands of colored candy melts may be processed on shared equipment with peanuts or tree nuts.

If you have a severe food allergy, it is your responsibility to review ingredients and consult with a medical professional before consuming any product. If you have any concerns about allergens or require ingredient information, it is your responsibility to mention said allergens and to review the ingredients provided to you prior to placing your order.

Please note that From Scratch Baking reserves the right to refuse any order if an allergy concern presents a safety risk. While I take precautions to avoid cross-contact, I cannot guarantee an allergen-free product and may decline orders when the risk is too great.
