Robin Egg Rice Krispie Treats

mini marshmallows

rice cereal

Robin Egg candy, crushed

tsp (5g)
vanilla
extra Robin Egg candy for the tops (optional)
Instructions
Line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper or spray with cooking spray; set aside.
Place butter and marshmallows into a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 15-30 second intervals, stirring in between each, until smooth.
Add cereal, crushed candy and vanilla to the bowl. Carefully mix until incorporated.
Pour mixture into the prepared pan. With damp hands (or spray hands with cooking spray) press mixture into the pan.
Optional: add extra crushed Robin Egg candy on the top of the treats and lightly press them down into the mixture.
Let cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
Once cooled, remove from the pan and cut into 2” squares. Or, take an egg-shaped cookie cutter and cut into shapes for a festive touch.
Wrap and store on the counter for up to two days or freeze for up to six weeks.
