sunflower seed butter

unsweetened applesauce

pure pumpkin
(not pumpkin pie mix)

plain Greek yogurt

Instructions
SunButter Dog Cake
Preheat the oven to 350℉ degrees. Grease one 8” cake pan or line with parchment paper. Set aside.
In a large bowl, mix the flour and baking soda together. Make a well in the center.
In a separate bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Mix together until the consistency is smooth.
Pour the wet ingredients into the center of the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake at 350℉ for about 20-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before removing. Once removed, place the cake onto a wire rack to cool completely. Frost if desired.
SunButter Dog Frosting
In a small bowl, mix the yogurt and sunflower seed butter until well combined.
Spread over the completely cooled cake. Decorate as desired.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
Notes
*Be sure to use pure pumpkin and NOT pumpkin pie mix.
If cake is frosted, store cake in the refrigerator.
